6 nights through Germany

Six nights of supercar driving from Munich to Milan, guided, by way of the Bavarian and Swiss Alps, with the price quoted on application.

Munich opens it, with arrival by midday, an aperitif in a hotel courtyard and dinner at a celebrated brasserie. A guided insider tour follows the next day, covering the landmarks, the Viktualienmarkt and the beer halls, which is a sensible way to spend the day before the keys appear, since Munich is a difficult city to drive anything wide in.

Tegernsee comes next, a lake in the Bavarian foothills with a private dinner at a lakeside resort, then a driving day across the Bavarian Alps and the countryside between them. A half-day loop into the Swiss Alps follows, taking in the Fluela, the northern side of the Stelvio and the Julier, which between them are as good a trio of passes as the Alps hold. Sankt Moritz comes after, then Lake Garda and Milan.

Access to a rotating fleet of current supercars for the driving days is included, along with five-star hotels, lakeside retreats and historic boutique properties throughout, the curated dining and the guided Munich tour; international flights are not, and the price is given on application. Seven days with a city day at the start is a gentler shape than a straight driving tour. The high passes are generally open from late May to October, and Milan at the finish has the best flight connections of any city on the route. The guided format suits a trip that crosses three countries in six nights.
