Nine nights in a loop from Toronto, self-guided, through Ottawa, Quebec City and Montreal, with the price quoted on application.

Four cities in nine nights with two nights at each is a well-judged allocation for eastern Canada, where the distances between them are a few hours at a time on good roads.

Toronto opens it for two nights, with the CN Tower, which held the record as the tallest free-standing structure in the world for over thirty years, and Niagara Falls available as a day trip. Ottawa follows for two by way of Kingston, with Parliament Hill and the Rideau Canal, which freezes into a skating rink in winter. Quebec City comes next for two along the Chemin du Roy, the oldest road in Canada, running beside the St Lawrence, with the world heritage old town and the Chateau Frontenac above it. Montreal follows for two by Trois-Rivieres, with Mount Royal, the old port and the Notre-Dame basilica, and the return to Toronto runs along the Thousand Islands Parkway.

The price is given on application. Late September and early October bring the autumn colour, which in this part of Canada is the main event, and the summer months are warmer and busier.
