4 nights through Germany

Four nights of supercar driving in a small convoy, from Salzburg through the Tyrol to Munich, timed for Oktoberfest.

The start is near Salzburg at Lake Fuschl, which sits in the hills east of the city and is about as good a place to collect a supercar as exists in Austria. The route then runs through the Tyrolean Alps and the Bavarian countryside, over the mountain passes the region is known for and through villages that have changed very little. The Tyrolean valleys are within reach of this start, and the roads there were built for views rather than for speed.

Munich is the finish, with Oktoberfest at the end of it, which is the reason the tour runs in September rather than in the summer: the festival starts in the middle of that month and runs into the first days of October. The convoy is kept small, which matters on roads where a line of supercars is conspicuous enough already. The Bavarian countryside between the mountains and the city is the softer half of the route.

Luxury hotels, fine dining, the cultural arrangements and the use of the car are confirmed as included; the full inclusions list has not been published, so anything else is worth confirming at the time of booking, and the price is quoted per person sharing. Five days is short for a trip at this price, which is the nature of the format: the driving days are the product rather than the distance covered. The Alpine passes are open by September and quieter than in August.
