6 days. 4 countries. 10 mountain passes. 1 unforgettable drive.

Five nights behind a lead car in your own car, from Stuttgart over the Stelvio and ten more Alpine passes to a balcony facing Mont Blanc.

It starts with the cars lined up outside the V8 Hotel in Stuttgart and a welcome dinner with the rest of the group. The next morning you head south down the Autobahn, stop for lunch on an Austrian mountainside and cross into Italy for the Stelvio Pass.

From there the days are passes, one after another – Bernina, Albula, Oberalp and Furka, then Tremola, Susten, Grimsel, Gotthard and Nufenen. The last drive goes west through Grindelwald and over the Great St Bernard Pass into the Aosta Valley, where the tour ends at a spa hotel facing Mont Blanc.

Day two is the long run south. The Autobahn takes you out of Germany into Austria for lunch at a mountainside restaurant, then on into Italy and up the Stelvio. That night you stay at a 4-star spa and wellness resort on the southern edge of the Stelvio National Park.

Day three covers nearly 200 miles over about five hours, on the Bernina, Albula (Bürgün), Oberalp and Furka passes, with lunch at a mountaintop restaurant. On the way down there is a toboggan run – PDDUK says it’s Europe’s longest.

Day four is the Tremola, Susten, Grimsel, Gotthard and Nufenen, back to back. After that the afternoon is yours – the spa, or the town – and PDDUK gives you a list of recommended restaurants in the villages nearby for dinner.

The final driving day heads west on more mountain passes and open country roads. You stop in Grindelwald and walk a cliff path to an Alpine restaurant for lunch. In the afternoon you cross the Great St Bernard Pass into Italy’s Aosta Valley. The last night is at a spa hotel with Mont Blanc outside your balcony, and a farewell dinner.

This is a guided convoy: the group follows PDDUK’s lead car, with a road book and route links as back-up. You bring your own car. If you’d rather not, PDDUK rents Porsches from Stuttgart – prices on request.

Five nights in spa hotels and mountain resorts, breakfast every day, four evening meals, city taxes, hotel parking and media coverage of the trip are all included. The price is £2,750 for a single occupant or £3,300 for two sharing. A non-refundable £1,000 deposit secures your place, and the balance is due by 10 May 2027.
